Covid-19 updates

As a gradual loosening up of the measures put in place under the corona pandemic the kindergarten will be open for parents to enter the cloakroom area only. This will be put in place from Monday 6th July. When you enter the building please wash both yours and your child’s hands before your child enters the department. Please make sure that there are not too many people in the cloakroom at the same time. You are, at this time, not allowed to go further into the building in the departments.

We must request that all children shall have vacated the building by 16:30.

We need to remind you that we still need to keep social distancing in place.
This is both for the children and the parents.

Thank you so much for your cooperation in making this work.

Wish you all a lovely summer.

Kind regards/Med vennlig hilsen

To parents in kindergartens and schools in Sola.

On Saturday the 7TH of March the Health Directorate extended the rules for quarantine to include all persons that have been in a country with continuous corona contagion in the last 14 days.

This means that if your child has been in one of the countries deemed by the Health Directorate to be a high risk of contagion (follow link on the Norwegian document) your child may not go to school or kindergarten for 14 days after returning from abroad. This applies whether or not your child has symptoms of the disease. This measure is retroactive, which means that some children that were in school/kindergarten last week, will now need to stay home for the next 7 days.

Sola Municipality follows the ongoing recommendations that are issued by the Health Directorate.
